The Artist and Pandemos

The Artist is a black and white silent film directed by Michel Hazanavicius . While in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to attend to a special screening of this movie at The Egyptian. It is a wonderful, beautiful, moving, entertaining film I recommend to anyone, especially to movie aficionados. I adored it.

I first heard of The Artist when it was in the Cannes Festival competition in May of last year, while I was working on my own black and white (well, sepia…) silent film… Mine is short and is more a myth than a real life story and I’ve been trying to do it since 2008 and wrote the story in 2004, but I guess everyone now will think I was inspired by The Artist

I hope The Artist gets the Oscar for Best Film.
